How and when to reboot a computer

What is the difference between restarting your computer and shutting it down?

How to connect a USB drive

How and why to delete temporary internet files

How to check a patron’s wireless connection

How to fix mouse and keyboard problems

How to install a printer(s)

How to save something to the temporary drive for a patron and retrieve it

How to open a CD/DVD when you put it in the computer if it does not automatically start to play

What to do if an internet page won’t open

What to do if your email won’t open

How to use Task Manager to close “hung up” programs

What to do if the print release station freezes or print jobs patrons know they sent are not appearing

 

Considering these or other troubleshooting issues, choose at least 4 to 6 and write or blog about which were most difficult for you to learn.  Anything surprise you about what you learned?  For your final project, please write up the directions for the ones you chose so we can add them to the Tech Tips page and other staff can benefit.
