Welcome to the 2009 All Wired Up training. If you complete the training last year, great, if not, then welcome! This year, you will have the chance to work on projects that will benefit you in your job.
To start, you will need to fill out the following form and return it to your Dept. Manager by Friday, Feb. 27.

Once you have completed the form, you will be contacted with more details by Friday, March 6.
Here is how the program will work:
1) Choose the kind of program you are interested in. You may choose:
- Individual Training on specific application or software (a trainer will be provided)
- Further Exploration of a topic
- Work as a Trainer
- Develop a project as an Individual or Group
2) Next you will choose from one of the topics listed below (or you may choose your own)
- Computer Skills Training
- Websites Patrons Use/ Playaways/ Digital Books
- Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint)
- Computer Troubleshooting
- Moviemaking
- Premium Resources
- LibraryThing/ Shelfari/ Anobii/ NextReads
3) After you have picked your topic, decide what your specific project will be. For ideas on what you can do for projects, check the topic pages below.
4) Now the fun begins! You will work on your project from March 6 until May 4. If you need help on any of the topics, check our our handy topic pages or contact a Team Member. There is a list of helpful websites, videos, and books for the topics listed below to help you with your project.
5) You will have until May 4 to finish your project. You will turn in a summary on April 3 to let us know how everything is going and if there is anything you need help on.
6) Everyone who finishes will be entered to win prizes
