YouTube is a popular video sharing website where users can upload, watch, and share video clips.  The video clips you've seen throughout this adventure have all been from YouTube!  You're already a step ahead of yourself.  The clips are only a few minutes long and include amateur movies, instructional videos, and TV and film clips on a wide variety of subjects.

  1. Take a look at the article YouTube and Libraries from ALA. Think of two ways we could use YouTube in our Library and write about it on your blog.
  2. Go to YouTube.
  3. Search for two videos on a subject or person you are interested in.   It could be music videos, baseball videos, presidential debate videos or anything else you want.
  4. Watch the videos.
  5. Did you see that you can share links of the videos to a friend as well as post videos on a blog or website? You can even subscribe to specific video posts so that you know when new ones are uploaded.
  6. After you have viewed the videos, go to your blog. Post the location (URL) of the videos with a description.
